Atlas FAQs

Will Atlas work offline?

The Atlas app in Android or iOS works both online and offline.

Atlas on a browser works only online due to browser data storage limitations.

Users will be able to continue working and performing data capture tasks, even when no connection is available. Data will be uploaded when connection is restored.

Working in an area with poor connectivity

Before you head out, simply download your work area into the app. If you lose connectivity while working, it will automatically switch to offline mode.

In offline mode, all your work is stored locally in the app. When you return to a strong connection, simply sync with the server to upload your work and download others’ work on your device.

Yes, Atlas supports data from both.

Other than a GIS, can Atlas integrate with other 3rd party systems?
