We, at Cliffhanger Solutions, are pleased to announce that Atlas now uses Extensions. In the past we had all functionality automatically enabled in the core product, but since we have significantly expanded Atlas’s functional footprint over the past year, we were forced to only enable functionality as needed. From a pure technical perspective, Atlas still contains all extensions. In our world however, we don’t want to call it a module or plugin and market each extension as if it were a different product. It is not. It is still the same core product and code base. Extensions can simply be enabled by an administrator in the admin panel. Different extensions can be enabled for certain users only, keeping the UI clean and the UX pleasant. One codebase also keeps maintenance and support under control, so we can focus on use cases instead.
